Common questions

Do I need a credit card for the trial?

No. The 3-day trial starts the moment you install the extension — no signup, no payment info, no email. After 3 days, GlossLink locks until you upgrade.

What happens after my trial ends?

GlossLink stops highlighting until you upgrade. Your saved glossaries stay in your browser, so once you upgrade everything is exactly where you left it.

How do I cancel?

One click in your ExtensionPay billing portal — no emails, no phone calls. You keep Pro access until the end of your billing period.

Is my glossary private?

Yes. Glossaries live in your browser’s local storage. Nothing is uploaded unless you explicitly click “Share link.” Auto-detect sends only single unknown words (never page text) to public APIs (Wikipedia / Wiktionary / Free Dictionary).

Does GlossLink work on iPhone or Android?

No. GlossLink is a desktop Chrome browser extension. It only runs on Chrome / Chromium-based browsers on Windows, macOS, Linux, and ChromeOS desktops & laptops.

Can I add, edit, or delete a single word without re-uploading the whole CSV?

Yes. Open the popup, expand “Add, edit & delete terms,” and manage one term at a time. Changes save instantly to your active glossary.

How do I push updates to my team?

After editing your glossary, click Share link in the popup — you’ll get a single URL teammates can click to import the latest version. (Bulk-managed company glossaries are on the roadmap; email us if you need this today.)

Team or organization licenses?

Yes — email support@glosslink.app with your seat count and we’ll send a Stripe invoice. Right now we onboard teams manually so we can hand-hold the rollout.
